Brandon Klayko takes us down into the tunnels of the Number 7 Subway Line Extension in A/N Blog. The MTA photos are “showing quite a bit of progress since The Architect’s Newspaper toured the site one year ago this month.” The post includes avideo of MTA Capital Construction’s Shawn Kildare providing an update of building progress, a tour of the station including the entrance that will contain an inclined elevator. The station will be able to handle 35,000 passengers per hour during peak loads. Dattner Architects is the lead architect on the Parsons Brinckerhoff team.
