The Children’s Aid Society is one of New York City’s oldest social service organizations dedicated to the health, welfare, and education of minors. They have recently relocated some of their administrative departments, including their Executive Leadership Group, Development Group, Marketing Department, Strategy and Excellence Group, Public Policy, and Fiscal Group into a Midtown Manhattan commercial office building. Dattner Architects worked with Children’s Aid Society to create a dynamic, inspiring work environment consisting of private offices, workstations, conference spaces, and breakout areas for team collaboration including a large pantry with a communal table and banquette seating. The lobby features a large photographic mural inspired by photography from the Children’s Aid Archives, spanning the organization’s 160 year history.
