Located on the heavily landscaped campus of this independent school, the Klein Campus Center defines the central campus quadrangle and provides the school a renewed street presence. On the campus side, a glazed “interior street” runs the length of the building on both floors—providing ample room for circulation and socializing, with student locker spaces and study and seating niches overlooking the quad. Classrooms, music rehearsal spaces, administrative spaces and an expanded cafeteria face the main access avenue. The heart of the building is the 170-seat multi-purpose black box theater.
