Eric Epstein’s background in architectural and urban design gives him a multi-scalar perspective in his design approach. Throughout his career, he has explored the dichotomy between artistic and scientific, poetic and practical, or emotional and calculated – informing his approach in developing designs and leading project teams create holistic solutions for the built environment. He believes that built architecture can and does affect—or even shape—our lives. With this comes responsibility, to its users, the public, and the environment. Seeking opportunities to bring people together and provide a sense of place through thoughtful, meaningful architecture guides Eric’s work across this broad set of program-driven building typologies.
Eric joined the firm in 2008 and is a registered architect in New York and California. He has a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from New York Institute of Technology.
