Priya Patel Joins Dattner Architects as Director of Interiors

Dattner Architects is pleased to announce that Priya Patel NCIDQ, IIDA, NOMA, Assoc. AIA has joined the firm as Director of Interiors, bringing a combination of design leadership, strategic thinking, and client-focused collaboration to the practice. In this role, she will lead Dattner Architects’ interiors practice, helping shape environments that enhance experience, foster community, and support the missions of the institutions, organizations, and individuals we serve.

Priya is a visionary designer whose work reflects a deep understanding of how interiors influence the way people learn, work, heal, and connect. Her approach combines thoughtful planning, material innovation, and a keen attention to the human experience, resulting in spaces that are both inspiring and highly functional.

With experience spanning workplace, education, healthcare, civic, and institutional projects, Priya offers a breadth of expertise that strengthens Dattner Architects’ integrated design approach. She understands interiors not as a separate discipline, but as an essential component of architecture, shaping how people experience a building from the inside out.

“Priya is an exceptional designer and collaborator whose vision aligns closely with Dattner Architects’ mission-driven practice,” said Catherine Selby AIA, LEED AP, IIDA, NCIDQ, Partner. “Her ability to translate complex client goals into compelling, human-centered environments will elevate our work across our portfolio and deepen the value we bring to our clients.”

As Dattner Architects continues to expand its portfolio of civic, educational, healthcare, housing, and workplace projects, Priya’s leadership will help advance the firm’s commitment to creating thoughtful, sustainable, and transformative places. We are thrilled to welcome her to the team and look forward to the creativity, insight, and energy she will bring to our clients and projects.
