Karolina Bourou grew up in Greece where she studied and practiced architecture at the intersection of culture and urbanism. Upon moving to New York City, she gained experience on projects of varying scales and typologies with a focus on resiliency and sustainability. She is committed to designing healthy, sustainable, and equitable spaces with a focused interest in the agency of architecture to positively impact people’s lives.
Karolina holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University.
