Sylvia Dejoie

Sylvia Dejoie is inspired by the relationship between building design and the social behavior and wellbeing of building occupants. Sylvia strives to provide a conceptual narrative in her designs that is mindful of the project’s location, history, and culture—a concept that is expressed through form, material choice, and/or color selection. She has applied this approach to a variety of commercial interiors programs including corporate, educational, institutional, hospitality, and residential projects.

Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Architecture from The Technical University of Munich in Germany. She earned her Master of Science in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology and Master of Science in Interior Design from Pratt Institute.
