Washington Garcés-Carpio

Classically trained in ballet, Washington Garcés-Carpio has a special appreciation for spaces designed to solve problems, while meeting its urban inhabitants’ desires, and supporting the engagement with new ideas. As a designer, his personal interests lie at the intersection between the social foundation, the civil roles of architecture, and the meditative style in which context, program, and creative design are engaged in order to positively impact society.

Washington earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics from Universidad Autonóma de Madrid, and he holds a Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute.
