Senior Detailer

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Detailer with 15+ years of experience to join our firm on a project-specific basis.  Working closely with senior management and our Digital Design Director, the chosen candidate will be responsible for the development and review of technical standards.  This person will oversee junior-level staff to aid in drafting the details.  After an initial focus on the development of standards, the role will expand such that this person will work collaboratively with project teams – contributing technical knowledge, mentoring staff at various levels, and taking on QA/QC responsibilities.

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture
  • NYS Architectural Registration preferred
  • 15+ years of professional experience
  • Strong design, technical, and research skills
  • Proficient with AutoCAD; Revit knowledge a plus
  • Strong knowledge in NYC Building code, NYC Zoning Regulations, ANSI 117.1, ADA Standards, and the Fair Housing Act
  • Knowledge in other reference standards and test standards including NFPA/UL
  • Experience seeing a project from concept through Construction Administration
  • A passion for meticulously detailed drawing sets
  • Focused, articulate, well-organized, and detail-oriented

Intermediate Architects

We are seeking intermediate-level architects and designers to join our growing firm.  The selected candidates will work as key members of their project teams during all phases – from concept presentations and design development, through construction documents and administration – for public and private projects in the New York area.

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture
  • 3-7 years' professional experience
  • Proficiency with Revit
  • Outstanding design and technical skills
  • Strong graphic and 3D presentation skills
  • Articulate, organized and able to work well within a team
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3d Studio Max and/or Rhino

Project Designer / Project Architect – Interiors

We are currently seeking a capable, intermediate level Project Designer / Project Architect to join our growing interiors group. The selected candidate will work as a key part of a design team on all phases of project development (from planning and concept through design, FF+E selection and construction documents) for high-profile residential, cultural, education, and healthcare interiors projects.

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture, Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • 5-8 years’ relevant professional experience working on high profile interior architecture projects
  • Experience with furniture specification and working with furniture dealers is required. Contract furniture experience is preferred.
  • Experience with materials selection, specification and detailing
  • Strong aesthetic sense and design sensibility
  • Familiarity with architectural and interior details, finish materials and furnishings
  • Capable of working well with architecture teams
  • Outstanding graphic, 3D presentation, production and technical skills
  • Focused, articulate, well organized, and detail – oriented
  • Proficiency with Revit; familiarity with other 3D software and Adobe Design Suite
  • Familiarity with NYC Building code as applied to interior architecture
  • NYS Architectural Registration or NCIDQ preferred

Entry Level Designer

We are seeking a full-time entry-level designer to produce models and high quality, cutting edge graphic presentations, and assist with design and construction documents for public sector projects. The elected candidate may be assigned to work on various phases of project development and may also support specific marketing initiatives.  A willingness to participate in a wide range of tasks is critical to success.

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture
  • 0 to 1 years of relevant professional experience
  • Outstanding graphic and 3D presentation skills
  • Model making: wood, metal, plastic, paper (laser cutter and traditional construction)
  • Proficiency in Revit required
  • Functional knowledge of at least 2 of the following: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3d Studio Max, Form Z, Rhinoceros, InDesign
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments
  • Focused, well organized, detail-oriented and design-minded
