Dattner Architects is a women-owned design firm where equity and inclusion are fundamental to our culture. Our ongoing dedication to fostering an inclusive environment has enabled women to excel and lead at the highest levels within our studio. Sustained by a clear mission, a robust and diverse portfolio across multiple sectors, and a proactive leadership transition strategy, our practice remains dynamic and resilient. Our greatest strength is our community of talented, creative professionals who are united by a shared passion for designing and delivering impactful, essential architecture.

Collaboration and iteration are central to our design process, empowering every team member to contribute. Tools like pin-ups, Miro boards, and study models fuel dialog,  creativity, and innovation—with in-person teamwork anchoring our approach. Beyond project delivery, our staff connects across disciplines through initiatives such as our Sustainable Practice Group, R&D Co:Lab, Mentoring Program, BIM Task Force, and our annual Day of Service. We also encourage active participation in the broader design community and dialogue on the urban realm through involvement with organizations like AIA, the Architectural League, Urban Green, and other professional groups.
