With a diverse architectural background ranging from interiors to comprehensive master planning, Mia Lee believes that Architecture’s role in the urban environment is to be lasting, sustainable, and beautiful. She is passionate about practicing architecture that results in spaces that positively impact people’s lives. Deeply interested in architecture’s manifestation at all scales, she approaches design holistically and is fascinated in the many ways in which people experience the built environment. As a Studio Director, she provides design leadership and finds opportunities for cross collaboration to enhance education and community spaces across a variety of building typologies.
Mia holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Penn School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering and Art from Lafayette College. She joined Dattner Architects in 2010 and is a licensed architect in New York. She is involved in Professional Women in Construction and the New York Building Congress’ Education, Arts & Culture Committee.
