Steve Frankel views architecture as a fully collaborative, creative effort between architect, client, engineer, and builder, with the architect guiding the design process, facilitating teamwork and communication while maintaining design integrity. Steve’s hands-on approach begins with hand sketches and cardboard models and continues through final building detailing. He believes architecture is an incredibly rich creative process that balances the abstract search for essential design concepts with the complex, practical coordination required for building in the real world.
Steve joined the firm in 2003. He has worked as a designer in Basel, Switzerland and Barcelona, Spain. Steve holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University. A licensed architect in New York, Steve is an active member of the American Institute of Architects.
