Shefali Sanghvi Speaks at AIANY’s Sustainability by Any Other Name Panel
Dattner Architects Associate Principal and Director of Sustainability Shefali Sanghvi joined fellow industry leaders Grayson Jordan, David Polk, and Meghan Timmons at the AIA New York’s Center for Architecture on August 6th for a candid conversation on the evolving role of sustainability and resilience in design amid changing federal priorities.
The panel explored how architects are adapting to the rollback of climate-focused initiatives, continuing to advance resilient, healthy, and equitable design, and finding new ways to communicate the value of this work across political and geographic contexts. Honest, insightful, and forward-looking, the discussion reinforced a simple reality: the cost of inaction remains too high to ignore.
