Originally from Portugal, Ana Durão was heavily influenced by a minimalist aesthetic of clean lines and solid forms. Now calling New York home, Ana’s interests have turned to addressing the specific needs of the city, particularly multi-family housing. Across a wide variety of project types, scales, and location, an attention to detail is a prevailing theme across Ana’s work and has always formed the basis of her architectural responses. She believes in interdisciplinary collaboration as the best way to achieve truly transformative spaces, and a hands-on approach leads her to enjoy all phases of a project.
Ana holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Lusíada University.
