Ivan Himanen is an architect who thinks like a planner, seeking to democratize the built environment through social infrastructure. In his practice he strives for balance: between cities and nature, technology and craft, and clients and communities. He has worked on a range of civic projects, including public schools, master plans, performing arts centers, a nature education center, and urban furniture prototypes.
Ivan holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union, and a Masters Degree in City & Technology at The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia.
