Kavya Cherala enjoys working at the intersection of architecture and public policy, seeking social and environmental equity. As a RETI Center Fellow, she prototypes carbon removal technology to serve as a platform for public education on NYC waterfronts. She has also co-taught a design studio at Columbia University GSAPP, guest lectured at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and is active in the AIANY’s Women in Architecture committee.
Kavya holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Pune in India and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University GSAPP.
