Precinct Station House Recognized by PWC NY’s Salute to Women of Achievement Award
The 116 Precinct Station House has received Professional Women in Construction-New York’s inaugural Salute to Women of Achievement design award. This project, part of NYC DDC’s Design Excellence program, was envisioned as a vital piece of social infrastructure in southern Queens. Designed to bridge contrasting urban scales, it features a welcoming public plaza that fosters community connection and engagement with the NYPD. We are proud that women held key leadership roles throughout the project team, reflecting values of equity, sustainability, and design innovation.
