Kirsten Sibilia announced as Board Chair of Habitat for Humanity NYC and Westchester

Kirsten Sibilia Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, WEDG, Managing Partner at Dattner Architects, was announced as the new Board Chair for Habitat for Humanity NYC and Westchester on September 25th, 2026.  She has been on the board for four years, and in this new position, Kirsten will be focused advocating for the importance of affordable homeownership, the role of thoughtful design in creating equitable communities and opportunities for Habitat to continue evolving its work across New York City and Westchester County.

“I believe that housing is a fundamental human right. Affordable homeownership is foundational for people building a life. It provides a level of stability and the opportunity to build equity, and the resulting sense of security is transformative for a family. The particular niche that Habitat plays in the robust ecosystem of affordable housing is incredibly important, and I am so proud to be part of that work and lend my energy to it.” – Kirsten Sibilia Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, WEDG
