Join Dattner Architects on October 31st for Archtober’s Building of the Day tour
Founded in 2011, Archtober has grown into a year-round resource promoting the discovery of architecture and design through experiences and content, culminating in a month-long festival every October. Dattner Architects’ Brooklyn District 3 Garage and Offices is featured as the festival’s Building of the Day on October 31, 2026! Sign up for a tour by Paul Bauer, Patrick McAffrey and the NYC Department of Sanitation.
The tour will provide a behind the scenes look at the operations of this blend of infrastructure, sustainability, and design. The project prioritized working with community stakeholders in the local Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood to design a piece of essential architecture that is at the forefront of Dattner Architects’ mission.
Tour attendees will get to view the building’s unique design elements including precast concrete panels which line the façade, three glass types, and the 46,000 sf green roof.
